POSITION SUMMARY

Provide quality engineering support for National Pump Company. Provide implementation support for the quality program, including various process inspections and auditing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

  • Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, or diagrams.
  • Audit processes to ensure adherence to process documents.
  • Audit suppliers (to include on-site visits to supplier sites).
  • Conduct various process inspections.
  • Use Quality Inspection equipment on-site or off-site.
  • Collect and analyze data related to quality.
  • Maintain spreadsheets for evaluating or reporting Quality data.
  • Comply with established safety policies and procedures. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment as directed.
  • Use appropriate tools designed for their specific job tasks.
  • Act in accordance with NPC policies (ex. Harassment, Equal Employment Opportunity, Ethics, Safety, etc.).
  • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • CMM Experience is Required.
  • Running Metrology Calibration Program is Preferred.
  • 2-6 Years of experience in Manufacturing is Required.
  • Excellent computer skills required to include Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Use of company ERP system as applicable to the position.
  • Use of a variety of precision measurement devices.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings (blueprints with GD&T), work orders, instructions, BOMs and departmental procedures.
  • Organization and detail oriented are a must with this position
  • This position requires fluent speaking, writing, and reading of the English language.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, problem solving abilities.
  • Other duties as assigned
