What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within an educational environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the school property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter potential threats and report suspicious activities.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required by the location and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with school staff and law enforcement as needed to support a secure environment for students, faculty, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license as required.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
