PS2G is seeking a
Data Governance Analyst
to support the implementation of the
What Works Cities (WWC) Certification Program
powered by Bloomberg Philanthropies. This role will be instrumental in helping the client achieve Silver, Gold, and Platinum certifications within 18–24 months and will work closely with the Data Governance & Compliance Manager.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and track progress through all WWC assessment stages
- Upload key documentation and artifacts into the WWC Assessment & Results for America Dashboard
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical assistance providers to align practices with WWC standards
- Establish program dashboards and reporting structures to track and communicate progress
- Prepare deliverables such as governance frameworks, risk assessments, policy manuals, training materials, and audit documentation
- Support internal change management and the culture shift toward data-driven governance
Key Deliverables Include:
- WWC Certification milestones and self-assessment uploads
- Governance Framework, Data Policy Manual, and Risk Assessments
- Quarterly status reports, incident response protocols, and audit documentation
- Training content and stewardship roles matrix
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and public sector program tracking
- Experience working with dashboards, documentation systems, and collaborative project environments
- Excellent communication, organizational, and reporting skills
- Previous experience with certification programs or municipal data frameworks is a plus
