What You'll Do:
- Lead the full lifecycle of lending: promotion, analysis, packaging, underwriting, servicing, and reporting.
- Ensure alignment with agency goals and funding source requirements.
- Take ownership of portfolio setup and management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and impact.
- Collaborate across teams and with external partners to deliver exceptional service and results.

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in commercial loan underwriting in either a nonprofit or for-profit setting.
- Familiarity with SBA-guaranteed loan products, construction/development lending, and community banking is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or finance.
- Strong knowledge of credit principles, financial/cash flow analysis, lending regulations, and compliance.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and computer skills, with proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish fluency is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, maintain confidentiality, and manage deadlines.
- Knowledge of Northeastern Wisconsin and willingness to travel for outreach and marketing.
- Proven project management skills with experience leading complex, multifaceted initiatives.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Personal integrity, credibility, and a deep commitment to Newcap's mission.
- Experience working with low- to moderate-income individuals and families is preferred.
