**NOW HIRING: Production Planner**
Overview:
We're looking for a highly organized and proactive Production Planner to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential for coordinating production schedules, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and maintaining clear communication across departments and with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on order volume, material availability, and customer deadlines
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, and procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate order execution
- Communicate production timelines, changes, and updates clearly to customers and internal stakeholders
- Enter and manage customer orders, packaging quotes, and sample requests using the MACOLA system
- Provide timely and accurate pricing, lead times, and technical information to support sales and customer inquiries
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for material replenishment as needed
- Identify and escalate potential production delays, working with supervisors to prioritize urgent ("HOT") orders
- Address and resolve issues related to shipping, returns, credits, or billing with appropriate departments
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the order lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination, or a similar operations role
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in data entry and ERP systems (MACOLA experience a plus)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-changing environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external interactions
- Comfort with measurements, weights, and dimensional calculations
- Manufacturing, packaging, or construction industry background preferred
