We're looking for a
dedicated Systems Administrator
to join our mission-driven team supporting a key intelligence customer in
Springfield, VA
. In this role, you'll be at the frontline of critical IT operations—ensuring end users stay connected, secure, and productive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

What You'll Do:
As a
Tier 2 Desktop Support Technician
, you'll be the go-to expert for deskside support, helping to install, troubleshoot, and maintain the IT hardware and software that our end users depend on. From secure laptops and VTCs to printers and tablets, you'll keep things running smoothly and securely.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Responding to and resolving user incidents, issues, and service requests (IMACD).
• Supporting and maintaining a wide range of devices: workstations, VoIP, tablets, laptops, DVTCs, printers, and more.
• Installing and configuring software packages using scripts and standardized processes.
• Managing hardware inventory and performing equipment setup and disposal.
• Escalating complex technical issues and collaborating with Tier 3 teams as needed.
• Training and assisting users in hardware and basic software use.
• Documenting processes, creating SOPs, and improving service delivery.
• Working with ServiceNow to track and resolve tickets and fulfill IT service requests.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Solid troubleshooting and communication skills—you're the kind of person who owns the problem and sees it through.

• Comfortable supporting a wide variety of technologies, such as:

• Windows (7 & 10), Microsoft Office Suite

• VDI and Thin Client environments
• KVMs, VTCs, AV equipment

• Printers, fax, scan, and other peripherals

• Experience with tools like Citrix, SMS, SCCM, and ServiceNow.

• Ability to lift, carry, and install IT hardware and work across a large campus.
• Strong documentation, time management, and organizational abilities.

Required Certifications & Knowledge Areas:

• DoD M Certification: (A+, Network+, Security+, or similar)
• ITIL v3 Foundations (or willingness to obtain)
• Technical writing and SOP documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a mission-critical government or military environment.
• Hands-on experience supporting secure devices in a VDI ecosystem.
• Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and respond quickly to shifting demands.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience
• 3+ years of relevant IT support experience

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $120-130k.
