As a Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols at a government location. Your visible presence will provide reassurance while you interact with visitors and staff, demonstrating outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches or potential hazards, to the appropriate authorities or Allied Universal management.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public while on patrol or during other security-related duties.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site policies.
• Support access control procedures by checking identification and monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
