We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Inspector to join our team. This entry-level position offers full benefits and the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of materials and products, adhering to strict production standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Inspect materials and finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct routine visual inspections and measurements using hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Document and report non-conformance issues or defects to supervisors and the production team.
  • Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure product consistency.
  • Collaborate with production staff to troubleshoot quality issues and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain accurate inspection logs, records, and data entry using quality management systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions for quality improvements.
  • Participate in quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO and internal quality standards.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining organized workstations.
  • Support the production team by providing timely feedback on any quality-related issues.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills with the ability to detect even minor defects or inconsistencies.
  • Basic Math Skills: Ability to use basic math for measurements, calculations, and record-keeping.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Good motor skills to handle and inspect materials precisely.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and offer solutions to improve product quality.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication to report findings and collaborate with team members.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and support production goals.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of machinery and inspection tools.
  • Willingness to Learn: Open to training on quality control processes and standards.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
