Quality Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Inspector to join our team. This entry-level position offers full benefits and the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of materials and products, adhering to strict production standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Inspect materials and finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct routine visual inspections and measurements using hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Document and report non-conformance issues or defects to supervisors and the production team.
- Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure product consistency.
- Collaborate with production staff to troubleshoot quality issues and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate inspection logs, records, and data entry using quality management systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions for quality improvements.
- Participate in quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO and internal quality standards.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining organized workstations.
- Support the production team by providing timely feedback on any quality-related issues.
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills with the ability to detect even minor defects or inconsistencies.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to use basic math for measurements, calculations, and record-keeping.
- Hand-Eye Coordination: Good motor skills to handle and inspect materials precisely.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and offer solutions to improve product quality.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication to report findings and collaborate with team members.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and support production goals.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of machinery and inspection tools.
- Willingness to Learn: Open to training on quality control processes and standards.
