Winter Park, Florida, United States ZIO Full time

Operations Manager/On-Site
Winter Park, FL 32789
Remember the one in your group who always had a plan? They were the calm in the storm, the fixer, the one who could take chaos, put it into order, and drive things forward—whether it was running a student project, organizing a last-minute event, or managing a million moving parts behind the scenes. If this sounds like you, you're exactly who we're looking for

At ZIO, we don't just design and install AV and lighting control systems. We create the experience by focusing on the outcome. We transform boardrooms, hotels, resorts, and luxury homes into environments where every piece of equipment in the system works seamlessly. That doesn't happen by chance—it takes strong operations, smart leadership, and a team driven by excellence.

What We Do:
We partner with owners, designers, and managers of luxury residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional properties in the Southeast U.S. who value trusted advisors to solve complex building technology challenges. We are solving problems with the best solutions by designing, installing, and supporting smart technology. We're proud to partner with top-tier platforms like Lutron, Crestron, Q-Sys, Biamp, and others—and we never stop raising the bar.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll be the connective tissue of our company—supporting and guiding the teams that make our projects possible. You'll lead our support, projects, installation, and engineering departments while collaborating across leadership, finance/administration, and sales/marketing. You'll keep us aligned, efficient, and ahead of the curve.

  • Collaborate with PMs and technicians to solve challenges in real-time.
  • Review and update team forecasts and project schedules.
  • Create consistency and accountability through great communication and follow-through. Help improve systems, tools, and workflows to scale with ZIO's growth.
  • Oversee building, fleet, and equipment maintenance.
  • Support budgeting, resource planning, and company KPIs.
  • Lead with empathy, clarity, and a focus on outcomes.

You'll work directly with our leadership team, and your voice will help shape how ZIO grows from here.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who's excited by operations—not as red tape, but as the backbone of high-performing teams. You're an empathetic problem-solver who takes ownership and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves.

  • Proven experience managing teams and processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5+ years in operations, project management, or related leadership roles.
  • Excellent communicator—you know how to translate between departments, clients, and crews.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills—you thrive with a good system and a clear plan.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard operational tools.

  • PMP Certification or similar operational/project credentials.
  • Familiarity with AV systems, lighting control, or construction environments.
