Position Summary:
The Middle Revenue Cycle Director serves as a strategic partner to the CEO, helping guide operational priorities, strengthen client outcomes, and support the continued evolution of J2 Integrity Solutions as we grow and refine who we are becoming. This leadership role is actively engaged in building and developing the Coding, Clinical Documentation, Charge Capture, and QualityEducation functions, while also performing and participating in client-facing work that includes billable hours.
In addition to operational accountability, this role plays a key role in client relations, engagement oversight, and internal team development, advancing a people-first culture and driving high-quality outcomes for our clients, consultants, and the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across Coding, CDI, Charge Capture and QualityEducation functions to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient workflows.
- Partner with the CEO to guide operational priorities, contribute to organizational planning, and support the ongoing evolution of J2's service model.
- Balance internal development responsibilities with billable client-related work, contributing directly to project delivery while building scalable internal structures.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing internal teams that support both J2's internal needs and client engagement delivery.
- Foster strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on middle revenue cycle operations.
- Participate in client-related activities, meetings, and partnership building efforts to strengthen engagement and outcomes.
- Oversee and support the delivery of client engagement to ensure alignment, quality, and measurable impact.
- Assist with networking, outreach, and relationship-building efforts that support J2's business development and brand visibility.
- Support sales activities, including identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals, and representing J2 in conversations with prospective clients.
- Contribute to the development, refinement, and scaling of J2's internal enterprise operating model, processes, and standards.
- Lead operational improvements that enhance accuracy, compliance, efficiency, and financial performance for internal teams and clients.
- Oversee coding workflows, quality assurance, productivity expectations, and regulatory adherence.
- Identify and mitigate revenue leakage through analysis, root cause evaluation, and corrective action planning.
- Use dashboards, KPI's, and data insights to drive decision-making and performance improvement.
- Communicate clearly and collaboratively with clinical, operational, financial, and executive stakeholders.
- Serve as a brand ambassador of J2 Integrity Solutions, modeling professionalism, integrity, and partnership.
