Our team is dedicated to delivering top-tier results for our clients—from design and permitting to installation and project completion. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead and coordinate material handling jobs from start to finish in south Florida.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse material handling projects. This individual will work closely with the sales team, permitting authorities, logistics providers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful and timely completion of each project. A strong understanding of both the material handling industry and construction processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage material handling projects from initial planning through final completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between sales representatives and the project execution team.
  • Develop detailed project plans including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate permitting processes with internal team and relevant local and state authorities.
  • Oversee and coordinate logistics for delivery and installation of materials.
  • Manage subcontractor schedules, contracts, and work quality.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits and regular project status meetings with stakeholders.
  • Resolve issues or delays quickly and effectively to minimize impact.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress reports.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing material handling or warehouse construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse systems including racking, shelving, conveyors, and mezzanines.
  • Working knowledge of construction permitting and job site coordination.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and plans.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
  • PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Clean Driving Record
Preferred Experience
  • 3–5+ years of project management experience in construction or material handling or experience in construction.
  • Experience working with general contractors and subcontractors.
  • Understanding of OSHA and site safety protocols.
