Associate Veterinarian – Islamorada, FL

A progressive, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in the heart of the Florida Keys is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and supportive medical team. This position offers exposure to a diverse range of medical, surgical, and dental cases, along with mentorship opportunities designed to support veterinarians at any stage of their career.

Practice Highlights

  • AAHA-accredited facility with a multi-doctor team

  • Digital full-body and dental radiography

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, relationship-focused patient care

  • Collaborate with colleagues and practice leadership on case management

  • Mentor and support the growth of veterinary technicians and assistants

  • Manage a varied caseload of surgeries and clinical appointments

Qualifications

  • DVM/VMD degree (AVMA-accredited or completion of ECFVG/PAVE)

  • Active or eligible Florida veterinary license

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
