At FIRST SECURITY, we understand that the key to a successful operation is retaining a dedicated team of security officers who feel valued and supported. We offer three shifts to accommodate diverse needs:

  • Days: 7 AM - 4 PM
  • Prime: 3 PM - 12 AM
  • Nights: 11 PM - 8 AM
  • Some weekend 12-hour shifts available

Urgent Need: We are actively seeking Security Officers for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, available in both full-time and part-time positions. Whether you are CLEET unarmed or armed certified, we want you on our team

At FIRST SECURITY, we are committed to the safety of our premises, staff, and visitors. We seek individuals with CLEET 1/2 and CLEET 4 certifications to fill positions primarily in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. Our ideal candidates will not only be skilled in surveillance and protection but will also demonstrate the ability to interact respectfully and authoritatively with a diverse range of individuals.

Your role as a Security Officer will be crucial in preventing criminal behavior and reporting vital information to fellow guards and management. We strive to maintain excellent working conditions by ensuring our facilities remain safe and secure.

Responsibilities:

  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring access points, and investigating incidents.
  • Submit complete and detailed reports, recording observations and occurrences throughout your shift.
  • Follow location-specific procedures while building professional relationships with facility staff and visitors.
  • Monitor visitors according to customer policies and authorize the entrance of mental health patients.
  • Provide assistance to individuals in need.
Qualifications

Skills:

  • Proven experience as a security officer or guard, with strong conflict resolution abilities.
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
  • Familiarity with report writing and excellent surveillance skills.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience in surveillance systems being a plus.
  • CLEET Licensed as an unarmed security guard and/or as an armed security guard.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
