Chemical/Combustion Engineer

Job Description:
Perennial Energy in West Plains, MO is seeking a qualified candidate for Chemical or Combustion Engineer. This person would be responsible for developing and optimizing processes and equipment for biogas processing systems. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, supporting small and large scale projects from design to implementation, performing data analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve combustion system issues
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project design and execution
- Conduct data analysis to improve process efficiency and performance
- Lead continuous improvement efforts for combustion design and processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in process simulation software and chemical design principles
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and industry safety
- standards
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of combustion systems
- Understanding of project management principles
- Understanding the importance of cross functional collaboration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67, $81,330.72 per year
