Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, with a strong focus on diagnostics, mechanical systems, and customer service. This role involves performing a wide range of repairs and services on various vehicle makes and models, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
  • Repair and replace brake systems, suspensions, shocks & struts, and alignments
  • Service transmissions, powertrain components, and diesel engines
  • Conduct electrical system diagnostics and repairs, including automotive electrical systems
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings effectively to customers
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Assist in vehicle inspections for pre-purchase evaluations or routine check-ups

Experience

  • Proven dealership experience preferred with a solid background in automotive repair
  • Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, powertrain, oil change services, alignment, suspension, tire service, shocks & struts, brake repair, and automotive electrical systems
  • Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
  • Prior mechanic experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
