Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly with a genuine smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
  • Manage seating arrangements efficiently using Toast Tables (onside training provided)
  • Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and assisting with other questions and inquiries.
  • Assist guests with seating preferences, special requests, and accommodate any accessibility needs
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints courteously, striving to resolve issues promptly and effectively
  • Keep the host/host station organized, ensuring menus, reservation logs, and seating charts are up-to-date

Requirements

  • Previous host/host experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members
  • Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining composure
  • Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices to ensure every guest feels valued.
