Job Overview

Apex Industrial Battery was founded with a purpose to help customers meet their challenging motive power system needs along with a commitment to deliver the very best service and support in the industry. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to help support the service team. As a service technician, you will service, repair and handle maintenance on industrial batteries and chargers. No experience required - we will train the right person

Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit professional appearance and conduct while providing an excellent customer experience
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on industrial batteries and chargers
  • Perform installation of industrial batteries and chargers
  • Perform battery washes at customer facilities
  • On-site repair of batteries and chargers
  • Clean, organize and maintain work area and company vehicle
  • Complete all work orders (including warranty information) and time sheets in a legible, accurate, and timely manner
  • Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision in the field
  • Maintain a safe driving record
  • Additional duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Current, valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask; Detailed oriented
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Work ethics, attitude and personality that portray integrity, self-motivation, competitiveness, and persistence
  • Ability to focus, prioritize, and multi-task to help meet our customers' needs
  • High School diploma or equivalent
