Job Summary
TRIMAX Locks, a division of Wyers Products Group, is seeking a part-time Social Media Content Creation Specialist to help shape and grow our digital presence. In this role, you'll craft compelling content that engages audiences, builds brand loyalty, and drives measurable results. We're looking for a creative, self-motivated team player who understands social media trends, audience behaviors, and competitor activity, and can turn those insights into compelling content that builds community and strengthens our brand.
We are a growing company that manufactures and distributes security and towing products in the automotive and sports accessory markets. This is a part-time position (approx. 20 hours/week), with time spent both in-person at our Centennial office and on-location creating content.
Position Overview
The Social Media Content Creation Specialist will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing campaigns, and growing our online community. This role requires creativity, a strategic mindset, and a strong understanding of social media trends, analytics, branding, and digital storytelling.
Responsibilities
· Develop and execute engaging social media content strategies aligned with brand goals across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
· Generate, film, and edit 3–5 short-form videos per week featuring TRIMAX products, ensuring content is visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
· Run social media ad campaigns, monitor performance, and optimize campaigns for maximum reach, engagement, and conversions.
· Help create and adhere to a consistent content schedule, ensuring frequent posting and reviewing all content for accuracy, brand alignment, and visual quality.
· Create compelling narratives that share the TRIMAX brand story and highlight product benefits through social media content.
· Proofread all content meticulously to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency before publishing.
· Build and foster relationships with followers by engaging with the online community through comments, messages, and timely cultural moments.
· Conduct in-depth analytics: track performance metrics across platforms, interpret data, and adjust strategies to improve audience growth and engagement.
· Research competitor digital marketing campaigns to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.
· Study target audience demographics, interests, and behaviors to create content that resonates and builds stronger connections.
· Create partnerships with influencers, affiliates, and sponsor programs to strengthen brand loyalty and advocacy.
· Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, social media algorithms, and best practices in content creation and social media management.
· Additional duties and projects as required.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; 2–4 years of experience in social media marketing or digital content creation (or equivalent).
· Hands-on experience managing social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube) with proven success in audience growth and engagement (portfolio, reel, or examples of past content/posts required).
· Strong understanding of internet culture, online communities, and emerging social media trends.
· Understanding of social media analytics (or interest and vigor to learn).
· Proficiency with design tools (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and video editing software (such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Premiere Rush, Instagram Edits, etc.).
· Smartphone with high-quality video capability (DSLR camera a plus).
· Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; comfortable appearing on camera if needed.
· Physically active and able to move or lift up to 40 lbs.
· Willingness to film outdoors in various weather conditions; interest in outdoor sports (boating, jet skiing, camping, fishing, cycling, motorcycling, snowmobiling, ATVs, motorsports, etc.) is a plus.
· Upbeat, enthusiastic positive attitude with a passion for learning.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
