Our award-winning clientis seeking a motivated Process Engineer to join our team in Corvallis, Oregon. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our processes, contributing to the success of our thin-film electronic devices and sensors fabrication.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed lab notebooks to document your activities.
- Contribute to problem-solving efforts related to tool operation and repeatability.
- Ensure run logs and data entry are completed accurately and promptly.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meticulously.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration tasks on essential equipment.
- Provide feedback on potential improvements to work activities.
- Learn to operate and maintain assigned equipment with expertise.
- Understand and apply the scientific method to optimize processes.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and safety, identifying and correcting non-conforming activities.
- Lead or participate in special projects aligned with team goals and targets.
- Audit processes and monitor consumable availability.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar process engineering role.
- Associate's degree or higher in an appropriate field (e.g., engineering, science).
- Understanding of automated and semi-automated process tooling, ideally in thin-film electronics or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
- Ability to pass a random drug test.
