Temp To Full-Time

The Plus Group is hiring Medical Assistant for a healthcare client in their Allergy and Immunology Clinic.This is an immediate need on a temp-to-hire basis. Responsibilities:

  • Assist the provider with patient exams, procedures, and immunology-related treatments.

  • Prepare and sanitize exam rooms and medical instruments.

  • Obtain and record patient vitals, medical history, and symptoms.

  • Perform venipuncture, administer injections, and collect lab specimens.

  • Process lab orders and follow up on test results.

  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).

  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and aftercare instructions.

  • Manage appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and prior authorizations.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.

  • 1-2 years of clinical experience (immunology, allergy, or infectious disease experience a plus).

  • Proficiency in EMR systems and medical documentation.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

  • BLS/CPR certification required.

Schedule:

Monday: 9 am to 6 pm (Danville) Tuesday: 9 am to 5 pm (Castro Valley) Wednesday: 9 am to 5 pm (Danville) Thursday: 9 am to 6 pm (Castro Valley) Friday: 9 am to 2 pm (Danville) 1-hour lunch Monday-Thursday. No lunch on Friday.

Salary: $23-$25\hour plus medical benefits after 60 days and accrued Paid Sick Leave after 90 days
