Community Healthcare of Texas is currently recruiting for an Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). 

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides personal hygiene care to hospice patients following the patient's Plan of Care.    

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provides personal hygiene care to patients according to the individual Plan of Care, such as bathing and shampooing.     Deliver routine medical supplies as needed to patients.     Observe and report any changes in the patient's condition to the Nurse/Care Manager.    Demonstrate respect and understanding of the philosophy, mission, and service standards of CHOT and for providing excellent customer service.     Successfully complete 12 hours of in-service training annually.    May assist patient with transfers as needed.    Provide compassionate companionship to patients while delivering services.    Depending on the census, assignments may include patients in the field or inpatient units

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS  

HS Degree or GED    Proof of State Certification - Certified Nurse Aide    1 year of direct patient care experience required    Demonstrate skills and written competency prior to working independently with the patient    Able to operate the cellular device
