Job Overview

New restaurant opening in Riverview area. Tutto Tavola is looking for professional line cooks to prepare our dishes for our new restaurant. Duties will consist of working with the kitchen team to ensure recipes are followed precisely and presented properly on the plate. We are looking for those that are passionate about food and take pride in their work. As a Line Cook, you'll play a vital role in our kitchen by preparing high-quality food that keeps our guests coming back.

Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
  • Efficiency: Work quickly and accurately during high-volume service, especially during peak hours.
  • Station Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation throughout your shift.
  • Teamwork: Communicate and collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Sanitation: Follow food safety guidelines, proper storage practices, and cleaning protocols to meet health and safety standards.
  • Quality Control: Consistently monitor food quality and presentation to ensure every dish meets our standards.
  • Inventory Support: Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and minimizing food waste.
  • Adaptability: Assist in other kitchen duties as needed, including prep work, dishwashing, or opening/closing tasks

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a fast-paced full-service kitchen environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions with precision.
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Culinary training or certifications are a plus but not required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods of time
  • Comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed
