Job Overview

As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operation within our fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall success of our establishment, including food preparation, customer interaction, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Your ability to work collaboratively with your team will enhance the dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and guidelines while adhering to food safety standards.
  • Operate Toast POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages.
  • Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure safety and quality of food served.

Skills

  • Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately.
  • Experience in quick service or fast food restaurant settings is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while contributing individually to achieve goals.
