The Recruiting and SharePoint Specialist is responsible for supporting full-cycle recruitment of quality USO staff.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Duties)

  • Serve as recruiting point-of-contact for a limited number of assigned roles and assist recruiters while they are on leave to cover for their regions. Do full life cycle recruiting on all assigned requisitions. Manage all recruitment related activity including but not limited to identifying hiring needs, communication with internal and external stakeholders, scheduling, logistics, post-interview feedback, documentation, selection, negotiation and on-boarding for all job opportunities within assigned area.*
  • Create requisitions and post positions to job boards, professional sites and social media. Participate in candidate sourcing efforts.
  • Manage calendar for team and schedule all interviews. Communicate with candidates promptly and assist them with any questions.
  • Use recruiting software to track open positions and ensure candidate and requisition notes are up to date.
  • Design, implement, and maintain HR-specific SharePoint sites, sub-sites, lists, and permissions. Use SharePoint for document storage, version control, and history tracking of employee records, policies, and contracts. Use SharePoint, Applicant Tracking System and other resources to create reports and dashboards and ensure the accuracy and security of HR data within the system.
  • Ensure all pre-hire processes and documentation including but not limited to interview feedback documentation, background check and references, equipment and facility/office requests and other forms are completed in a timely manner.*

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor�s Degree in HR or related field.
  • 3-5 years progressively responsible work experience in a recruiting or HR support role.
  • 2+ years experience designing, implementing and maintaining internal SharePoint sites. Microsoft SharePoint or Microsoft 365 certification (preferred).General knowledge of Recruitment Lifecycle.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to interact with USO Leadership, the general public at a variety of levels with integrity and professionalism.
  • General knowledge of various software, applications, and programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office 360 and recruitment Applicant Tracking Systems. Demonstrated proficiency with Clear Company ATS preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment related to controversial and/or culturally sensitive subjects. Ability to handle confidential information with tact and poise.
  • Must show initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities. Ability to quickly and easily adapt to changing organizational needs.
  • Ability to achieve desired results while working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be a strong advocate of the USO�s mission.
