Front Counter Assistant for After School

We are Building Essential Skills Today with the B.E.S.T. kids, the B.E.S.T. company, and the B.E.S.T. Team Black Belt America is in search of a part-time Front Counter Assistant to work alongside our After School Coordinator.

The successful candidate is professional, friendly, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills, the ability to build positive relationships with families, and a commitment to high standards of communication and organization are a must.

Front Counter Assistant Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass Wisconsin Background Check
  • Multi-tasks well in a fast-paced Check In/Out environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including messaging apps or systems)

Duties include:

  • Check students in and out of a secure after school program
  • Welcome families and maintain a friendly, professional front counter presence
  • Support the After School Coordinator with administrative duties
  • Use our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to follow up with parents and handle requests
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the school
  • Attend paid meetings and training sessions

Schedule/Hours

  • Monday: 12:00pm – 6:15pm
  • Tuesday–Friday: 1:00pm – 6:15pm
  • Approximately 28 hours per week

Wage

  • $16.00 – $18.00 per hour, based on experience

Additional Requirements:

  • English proficiency (Required)
  • Reliable transportation to Madison, WI Required)
  • On-site / In-person position
