Job Summary

This is a Senior Automation Engineer Lead VP position for the Issuer Technology Team to perform tests on innovative solutions that not only meet functionality requirements but also meet performance, scalability and reliability requirements while adhering to development and delivery schedules, Software development in Test principles and quality goals. The ideal candidate should be very hands-on in technical and have very good communication skill to collaborate with product manager, business users, tech leads and QA team.

Job Responsibilities

• This is a hands-on Senior Automation Engineer Leadposition in a fast growing global business and development team.

• This role will also own the project testing independently and lead non functional testing and automation testing for Issuer Servicesprojects.

• Drive team to follow best practices, such as automation, non-functional testing, and change management.

• Successfully interpret and clarify business requirements, and translates the business requirements into specific case designs for very large complex solutions and integrating architecture.

• Contribute ideas on technology and process to ensure the team is productive and successful.

• Work with Global teams (US, Canada, China, India, .etc) and open to attend evening calls as needed.

Job Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in software testing, investment banking software testing experience is preferred.

• 3+ years' experience in managing team, especially global team is preferred.

• 5+ years' automation test development experience in Java/Python.

• Have a Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, EE, Mathematics or related majors.

• Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB, is preferred.

• With Financial knowledge or background is a plus.

Job Skills

• Good understanding of Software development lifecycle(SDLC), agile principles and methodologies.

• Leadership experience in managing and mentoring a team of Automation/Performance QA engineers.

• Expertise in automation test strategy design and implementation.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.

• Proficient in TDD and BDD automation frameworks.

• Excellent in non functional testing skills with expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner .etc.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, implemented CI/CD pipelines for automation and performance test execution

• Proficient in one programming language, Python or Java is preferred.

• Proficient with SQL and database management systems.

• Experience with bug tracking systems like Jira, Zephyr, or Bugzilla.

• Strong communication skills and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, multi-task, take ownership and drive strategy.

Education

• Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, EE, Mathematics or related majors.
• Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB, or any competitive certification is preferred.
