The Inn on Fifth is seeking a SPA Receptionist to join our amazing team As the first and last person a guest sees gives us the opportunity to set the tone for the guest experience. The Receptionist will support the Spa, by checking-in spa guests/members courteously and efficiently with the standard of excellence guests come to expect from Noble House Hotels.

Essential Functions:

  • Check-in all guests/members for spa services
  • Process payment for cash, memberships, room charge, credit card, check, gift certificate and employee discount
  • Open Spa for business and perform closing procedures at the end of the day
  • Maintain the reception area
  • Review and maintain appointment bookings
  • Greet guests/members upon arrival at the Spa
  • Confirm treatment availability
  • Book spa services and packages in booking system
  • Access all functions of point of sale system
  • Process all individual and group reservations
  • Update notes and guest/member history in computer system
  • Maintain towel/linen and robe supply
  • Issue gift certificates as requested
  • Process merchandise purchases and returns
  • Stock merchandise inventory on displays
  • Process all cancellations and no shows
  • Process medical releases as needed
  • Maintain knowledge of spa products and merchandise
  • Must be familiar with resort/spa packages, promotions, prices and rates
  • Anticipate guests needs and respond promptly

Secondary Functions:

  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • Previous spa experience is preferred
  • Experience in customer service and retail
  • On the job training
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to squat and bend
  • Corrected vision to normal range
  • Ability to work long hours as needed
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
