As a Senior Manager, Store Operations you will maximize company sales growth and profitability by leading, planning and managing strategic initiatives that drive store performance, operational excellence and the customer experience. Focusing on back of house space innovation, optimization, and efficiency; driving overall process improvement and profitability as directed and in partnership with the Executive Vice President of Stores, Regional Directors, and Store Operations Leadership

This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

A day in the life as a Senior Manager, Store Operations...

  • Leads and partners to execute the highest standards of operational excellence across all CBH brands through continually evolving, optimizing, and reinforcing all back of house processes, systems, and routines to drive retail strategy and results.
  • Develop and lead innovation, optimization, and reengineering of back of house layouts across all volumes and square footage, creating relevant applications to adjust to all store locations.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to align with BOH layout, standards, and improvement - developing more efficient and accurate processes for truck receiving, inventory flow, and inventory routines throughout all stores leveraging root cause analysis, system enhancements, and process changes across the network.
  • Drive process improvement for stores - continually removing or streamlining work that does not enhance the customer experience - identify upstream, root cause issues impacting customer and associate experience utilizing store feedback, data, and field experience - work with partners to develop and deploy solutions.
  • Lead areas of expertise in cross functional routines with a strong point of view empowered through data analysis, store feedback, and strategic goals.
  • Negotiate across partners on emerging work assignments - when to lead, participate, and/or move accountability to appropriate department and/or team.

  • Develop and lead Store Ops strategies and initiatives that drive top line results and P&L profitability - deliver, track and iterate initiatives with store leadership

  • Perform CBH stakeholder responsibilities as assigned.
  • Partner with Technology on continual enhancements in all systems, technology and devices - internal and 3rd party - relevant to areas of expertise.

  • Demonstrate high level execution and project management skills - scoping, planning, leadership, delivery, follow up.
  • Ability to use data insight to assess, make decisions, and track results and trends.
  • Strong communication skills in developing content, training and presentations for areas of expertise.

  • Ability to quickly and effectively assess, flex, and shift own and team work to meet ongoing business priorities.

We'd love to hear from you if you have…

  • 7+ years retail operations, supply chain, store planning or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years supervisory or leadership experience
    Facility with CAD, Google, Microsoft work suite, micro strategies, and tools needed to perform functions, preferred

Minimum Starting Rate: $101,900.00 Hourly

Up to: $135,000.00 Hourly

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
