We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical office management, demonstrating strong leadership, organizational, and financial acumen. As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient clinic operations, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a positive environment for staff and patients alike. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of practice operations, including patient flow, staff management, and administrative functions.
  • Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and revenue cycle processes to ensure profitability and sustainability.
  • Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing leadership, training, and development to promote high performance and team cohesion.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and other applicable laws related to medical records, privacy, and safety.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient medical record management and documentation.
  • Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
  • Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
  • Oversee inventory control, supply procurement, and equipment maintenance to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, or veterinary staff (if applicable) to streamline workflows in acute or critical care environments.
  • Develop policies and procedures aligned with healthcare standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements.
  • Manage billing processes including managed care contracts and utilization management to maximize revenue streams.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional growth among staff members.

Experience

  • Proven experience in medical office management with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and administrative procedures.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing teams within healthcare or veterinary settings.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, EMR/EHR systems
  • Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control measures.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance standards and JCAHO accreditation processes.
  • Experience working with various practice management software is highly desirable.
  • Background in managing clinic operations within acute care or hospital environments is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills coupled with the ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced settings.
