SUMMARY: 

The Campus Director of Engineering is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, evaluating and effectively directing the Engineering/Maintenance staff and programs in order to ensure a safe and secure environment for all customers consistent with regulations and established best practices. The Director will oversee and manage the Engineering Department to ensure the buildings' physical plant is operational to meet the needs of residents, tenants and staff, supervises and oversees the maintenance of the facility and grounds, keeps them in good repair, and oversees the use of contracted services for the building, grounds and equipment maintenance.

 JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Wage: $83,000-$95,000. $5,000 sign on bonus paid out over a year
  • Hours: Full time, standard day time hours

Education, Experience and Credentials

  • Degree from an accredited technical school, college or university in Engineering, Building Operations or related field required; or equivalent experience determined at management discretion.
  • Five or more years' management experience in facilities operations required, preferably in a senior   services setting.
  • State of Minnesota First Class "C" or higher Boiler's License preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license preferred.  Upon hire, must obtain CPO within three months. (East Campus Only)

Compensation: An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. Shift and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
