Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled commercial tire Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes and other essential checks to ensure the optimal performance of our customers' vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive diagnostics, contributing to a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Replaced or repair commercial tires in or for 18 wheeler / machinery/equipment.
  • Perform repairs or replacements over the road or shop.
  • Perform oil changes ,battery changes , lockouts and other routine maintenance tasks on various types of vehicles.
  • Align and maintain vehicle components to ensure proper functionality.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during maintenance procedures.
  • Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required for vehicle service and repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized our shop ,warehouse ,work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
  • Keep accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
  • technician/shop duties are required.

Qualifications

  • minimum 2 years of experience in commercial tires,
  • please apply only if you have experience in the plt & commercial tire industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive/tire repair preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a tire technician, preferably with commercial vehicles.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment (75+ lbs.) and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tire repair tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • TIA (Tire Industry Association) certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends .
