DUTIES
: Visteon Corporation seeks a Regional Software Delivery Leader in Van Buren Township, Michigan. This position requires domestic travel, as needed, up to 7%. Build relationship with customer interfaces. Engage and build relationship with key software contacts of every customer. Work with the customers to understand the pain points and expectations align internal teams towards addressing those effectively to improve the customer satisfaction. Influence customer solutions towards Visteon's platform solutions to gain the advantage. Negotiate and set the right expectations on timelines, cost and delivery keeping in view of internal constraints and feasibilities. Consistent project planning, tracking, execution and escalations across the regions and projects. Define budget and targets as part of project plan, optimizing resources and cost to meet the targets set. Develop cost control measures to handle deviations, tracks project changes to estimate the impact on cost of the changes. Sets and tracks the progress on the quality targets. Drives to ensure all the quality steps in the project development are conducted. Works to ensure a high level of product and requirements knowledge for each member of the software customer delivery team. Ensures a high level of project management skills, excellent understanding of the customer specific requirements and good level of understanding of SW development team capabilities for the software delivery team members.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree field and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation . Experience must include: Experience in managing distributed development teams; Experience in software development life cycle, agile methodologies; Experience in Project Management for execution of Automotive Software development Projects; Experience in programming languages: C, C++ and Real Time Operating Systems knowledge; Experience in Agile / SCRUM team-leadership; Experience in standard Design techniques using UML tools.
