About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking a Senior Digital Merchandiser, Spirits to join our Digital Merchandising team in our Bethesda, MD office. You will play a critical role in execution of digital merchandising strategies that enhance customer discovery, drive category growth, and strengthen brand equity. You will oversee end-to-end initiatives across landing pages, navigation, curated product assortments, and more, optimizing the customer journey and improving conversion. Your work will combine creativity with data-driven insights to identify opportunities, refine workflows, and elevate the effectiveness of our digital content and assortment strategies to help customers discover and shop for Spirits online.

In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful merchandising experiences and provide guidance to junior team members. You'll contribute to both long-term strategic priorities and day-to-day execution, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement. You will report to the Senior Digital Merchandising, Spirits.

You will
  • Drive digital merchandising initiatives across the Spirits category, overseeing execution of landing pages, campaign features, and product assortments to achieve business and customer impact
  • Plan and direct navigation, taxonomy, and product curation strategies that align with enterprise objectives and set standards for best-in-class digital experiences
  • Oversee cross-functional collaboration with merchandising, marketing, and analytics teams, driving alignment and accountability for digital campaigns, seasonal features, and category experiences
  • Advise senior stakeholders on digital merchandising best practices, leveraging customer insights and performance data to influence long-term category strategies
  • Manage development of merchandising strategies and digital content plans, ensuring profitability, sustained growth, and engagement across the Spirits categories
You will come with
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is preferred
  • 3-6 years' experience in Digital (Merchandising or Marketing), Buying, Category Management or Vendor Management, or a combination
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively apply knowledge by creating action plans (Adobe experience preferred)
  • Experience with regular A/B testing a plus
  • Experience as a user for key merchandising tools (ex. for search results algorithms, product recommendation, etc.) a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to successfully multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere, while understanding big-picture objectives and strategy
  • Ability to manage workload, project plans, and to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Must be a team player who is able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Must be flexible and easily adapt to change as business priorities shift
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Skills
  • Retail and/or alcohol industry knowledge is a plus
