Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team on first shift. This role is responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of all extrusion and compounding lines, as well as the testing area, across multiple shifts. You will ensure production goals are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities

As Manufacturing Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, supervise and support shift supervisors and production/testing teams, and monitor production output, quality metrics, and safety compliance. You will coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to address equipment, process, or material challenges, lead process improvement initiatives, and manage staffing, training, and development. Accurate documentation and collaboration with other departments for new product launches and process changes are also essential.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred), at least five years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment (extrusion and compounding experience preferred), and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams/Zoom, and manufacturing software systems. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Work EnvironmentPhysical Demands

Work is performed year-round on a standard manufacturing floor, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, industrial noise, heat, vibration, and airborne particles. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and provided. The position requires frequent movement, standing and walking for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
