Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Inside Sales Account Representative located in College Point, NY or Berwick, PA. The Inside Sales Account Representative will be responsible for generating leads, managing accounts, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining clear communication with clients. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and nurturing sales opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make a high volume of daily outbound calls and emails to prospective and existing customers.
- Qualify leads and manage them through the sales funnel, ensuring consistent follow-up.
- Use a consultative sales approach to understand client needs, pain points, and workplace environments.
- Educate customers on ergonomic products, features, and value propositions.
- Manage and track all interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, SalesLogix), maintaining accurate records and sales activity.
- Identify opportunities and navigate complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers in niche markets such as healthcare, manufacturing, and education.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams based on customer interactions and market trends.
- Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate technical information and product benefits.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of inside sales experience in a B2B setting; experience in ergonomic products, medical equipment, or industrial supplies is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing a high volume of outbound calls and prospecting activities.
- Account Management and Customer Service skills
- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales reporting tools. Knowledge of Saleslogix is a plus.
- Comfortable selling into niche or specialized markets, including navigating complex buyer journeys.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Willingness to travel as required.
