SurvTech Solutions is seeking a motivated Survey Instrument Operator to join our field survey team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning new technology, and contributing to a variety of land and geospatial survey projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Party Chief in collecting accurate field survey data for boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
  • Set up, operate, and maintain survey instruments including total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors
  • Perform field calculations, take precise measurements, and record field notes
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and stored
  • Adhere to all company and job site safety protocols
  • Travel to various project sites as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous survey field experience preferred but not required — we're willing to train the right candidate
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
