Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Host/Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and efficiently managing dining operations. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, adhering to restaurant standards.
  • Manage guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for order processing and payment transactions.
  • Assist with guest relations to enhance overall satisfaction during their visit.
  • Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene practices.

Experience

  • Previous host/host or server experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Background in food service or hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with phone etiquette.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2.39 - $12.00 per hour
