A leading alternative investment firm is seeking a Fund Finance Associate to join their high-performing CLO/Structured Finance team within the Direct Lending fund in New York. This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly analytical, client-facing role that blends front-office responsibilities with deep operational involvement. The culture is highly collaborative; senior team members remain hands-on and involved in day-to-day operations. This is a hybrid position, with four days in-office and Fridays remote

Job Function

  • Complete investor data requests and fulfill ongoing reporting obligations across the CLO and direct lending funds.
  • Collaborate with front office teams, internal departments, and external advisors or investors to support fund operations and performance transparency.
  • Prepare track records and performance metrics for the direct lending portfolio and associated funds.
  • Analyze P&L drivers and assist in delivering accurate fund performance reporting to senior management.
  • Support fund finance functions including cash flow projections, waterfall modeling, and credit agreement analysis.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects, including technology initiatives and system/process enhancements.

Job Requirement

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience ideally at a private equity, hedge fund, or alternatives investment firm
  • Understanding of funds and fund structures, financial statements and accounting, including European-style waterfalls
  • Knowledge of financial performance measures and statistics
