Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting and possess strong classroom management skills. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety, and promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities

  • Educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities and lessons.
  • Follow daily schedules that include playtime, learning activities, meals, and rest periods.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Provide caregiving support to children, including assistance with personal hygiene and meal times.
  • Monitor children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as needed.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience.
  • Stay updated on first aid practices and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with students in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage children effectively.
  • Background in caregiving, particularly with infants or preschool-aged children.
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children's emotional needs.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience as a nanny or in similar roles is a plus.
  • A genuine love for working with children and fostering their development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
