I-2-I Solutions, Inc., a federal contracting firm specializing in facility and logistics services, is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Facility Support and Housekeeping Specialists to support our Aircrew Lodging Operations at Kirtland Air Force Base (Building 917-1 and

You will be part of a mission-critical team ensuring clean, safe, and fully functional quarters for U.S. Air Force visiting aircrews performing national security missions.

This position requires reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision in a federal facility environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and common areas.
  • Change linens, restock amenities, and ensure all rooms are guest-ready prior to aircrew arrival.
  • Maintain exterior areas around the facility, removing trash and debris daily.
  • Follow established crew rest rules — avoid cleaning during designated rest periods.
  • Conduct deep cleaning (twice per year) and special sanitizing as required.
  • Manage key control procedures for room assignment and access.
  • Report facility issues, equipment damage, or maintenance needs to the supervisor or Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and Air Force safety regulations.
  • Support on-call coverage after normal hours for late or emergency aircrew arrivals (rotating basis).

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in custodial, housekeeping, or lodging services (hotel, hospital, base, or similar).
  • U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) for base access.
  • Must complete Operations Security (OPSEC) and Safety training prior to start (training provided).
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and prolonged standing.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a military or federal facility environment.
  • Knowledge of EPA/OSHA cleaning standards and safe chemical handling.
  • Basic recordkeeping and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with DFARS Mission-Essential Services compliance.
