Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations within a retail pharmacy setting. This position requires a strong focus on buiilding patient relationships, patient care, medication administration, and adherence to safety protocols. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. Salary based on level of experience.

Duties

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
  • Perform medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards, including aseptic technique.
  • Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to support acute care needs.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy workspace.
