Job Description:

  • Create and maintain detailed
    Gantt charts
    to track progress across multiple concurrent design projects.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and ensure all milestones are met according to schedule.
  • Coordinate with test departments and interior trim suppliers to maintain validation program timing for start of production.
  • Utilize
    Jira
    to manage and communicate engineering tasks and progress.
  • Publish key information and updates through
    Confluence
    for full team visibility.
  • Lead
    design release
    and
    engineering change requests (ECRs)
    through Lucid's internal systems.
  • Provide technical guidance to resolve complex engineering challenges within mechanical and interior trim systems.
  • Support cost breakdown reviews, collaborate on establishing should-cost targets, and facilitate supplier communication.
  • Prepare and deliver progress updates and presentations to management and executive leadership.
  • Travel occasionally to the Arizona manufacturing plant to support build activities.
  • Collaborate with PMO, Design, Craftsmanship, Supply Chain, and Vehicle Safety teams to ensure alignment and launch success.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years
    of experience in
    automotive project management
    , preferably in
    interior trim systems
    .
  • Knowledge of
    CAD programs
    and experience with
    Atlassian tools
    (Jira, Confluence, Tableau, or similar).
  • Proven understanding of
    manufacturing processes
    (e.g., injection molding, die casting, covering, mechanical assembly, welding, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills with expertise in creating and managing
    Gantt charts
    .
  • Excellent
    communication
    and
    presentation
    skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to manage timing, cost, and technical requirements effectively.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a passion for collaboration and problem-solving.
