Seeking an outgoing, experienced Veterinary Assistant looking for a long-term position for our very busy single doctor practice. We focus on providing high quality medicine with a personal touch. We strive to maintain excellent client relationships & ensure a friendly work environment that provides a healthy work/life balance for our employees.

DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):

* Client communication

* Phone triage & scheduling

* Assisting with patient restraint, vaccinations, injections, treatments

* Venipuncture and catheter placement

* Restraint and positioning for radiography

* Assist with dental procedures

* Surgical preparation, patient monitoring and recovery

* Cleaning and restocking the hospital

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma (required); College degree (preferred)

* Minimum of 1 year's experience in an animal related field (veterinary experience preferred)

* Must be detail-oriented & work well independently & with others

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
