Job Description
As a member of our India Global Resource Center, you would contribute to CDM Smith's vision by serving as Process Task Lead or Primary Process Engineer on a multitude of projects focused on water and wastewater treatment plant planning, design, and construction. This role will include coordination with team members of various engineering disciplines in our local offices as well as offices across the United States.

• Membrane technology experience from design to commissioning on GAC, MBR, RO and Desalination on international/national water/wastewater treatment plant projects.

• With high-level goals provided, create water and wastewater treatment facilities, water and sewer systems, and pump stations engineering designs of basic to high complexity to meet client project requirements.

• Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff. Mentors more junior staff and develops them for future growth within the discipline and firm. May supervise the work of junior engineers on project work.

• Completing Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and review of more junior staff work product.
• Participate or assist in new business development by contributing to technical approach and level of effort development.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline. 18+ years of related/relevant experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (PE) license or Charter Engineer from Water Institute UK.

• Hands-on experience in BIOWIN modeling, Air Quality modelling simulation etc.

• Expert Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.

• Previous experience and demonstrated performance in the planning and design of water/wastewater projects.

• Strong communication skills with internal and external clients

• Experience as a leader, mentor, and problem solver with a determination for excellence

• Alternative/Design Build project delivery experience

Background Check and Drug Testing Information
