The Wholesale Warehouse Associate is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and store policy. They also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and loss prevention. The Wholesale Warehouse Associate will report directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the following:

  • Receive wholesale inventory
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory
  • Print orders from Warehouse Management System and pick items as listed on the Packing Slip to attach to the package making necessary edits as needed
  • Printing and applying labels to orders as needed
  • After order is shipped send Order Acknowledgement and Advance Ship Notice
  • Inspect products for errors, defects and damages
  • Organize and palletize outgoing shipments based on retailer specifications
  • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
  • Communicate with direct supervisors with any concerns
  • Proactively address monitor to inventory to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Assist in cycle counting as needed
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center, preferred
  • Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as reach trucks and pallet jacks
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Strong attention to detail for quality control purposes
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing or sitting for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Repetitive wrist motion
  • Audible recognition of alarms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
