Position Summary

The Field Service Inventory Specialist position will be maintaining the inventory within the Field Service warehouse and in Field Serivce Vans. You will be working with warehouse, production, technicians and procurement to ensure the inventory levels are correct. Investigating discrepancies physically and system mantically to find the root cause. This role will be highly involved in the reorganization of inventory. 

Position Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of warehouse and inventory functions. Working with team members and others throughout the organization.
  • This role will help start inventory organization and will be managing this process.
  • Investigate inventory issues and determine the root cause.
  • Candidate must have good attention to detail to perform cycle counts as needed. Receives, Moves/ Locates, materials, equipment, and other items in the warehouse.
  • Report damages and inventory variances immediately
  • Willingness to cross-train in different Service Part roles

Position Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Must have strong mathematical skills.
  • Must be a team player and willing to help where needed. 
  • Understanding inventory control processes, cycle counting processes and basic inventory functions. 
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems, Genius ERP system a plus.
  • Employees must abide by all safety protocols and utilize all required PPE
  • Preferably, candidates with experience utilizing various equipment including Sit down forklift, reach truck, and Turret truck or scissor lift. Candidates should not have an issue with going up to 30 ft. on equipment
  • Ability to lift, up to 75 lbs. position requires standing, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, kneeling and lifting for the entire duration of the shift. Loads and unloads materials from pallets, skids, platforms either manually or mechanically.
  • Work in a non-temperature regulated facility
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Hours for this position will be 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday thru Friday
