Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Duties

  • Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and handling of goods.
  • Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
  • Collaborate with warehouse management to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
  • Support inventory management through accurate tracking of materials within the warehouse management system.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating heavy equipment.

Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution and materials handling.
  • Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems.
  • Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus.
  • Knowledge of shipping & receiving practices within a warehouse setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Capacity for heavy lifting and physical stamina for long shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
