Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor/ Clinical Director

  • Provide general and direct supervision of the service activities and personnel,

  • Supervise CDCAs and Peer Support designated to you for 1 hour for every 40 hours worked,

  • Work collaboratively with management to implement appropriate programs,

  • Supervise Assistant Clinical Supervisor,

  • Review all treatment plans, assessments, transfer summaries, and any other document needing reviewed,

  • Effectively addresses disciplinary issues with supervised employees; accurately and thoroughly documents and processes disciplinary actions in a timely manner and in accordance with policies and procedures,

  • Oversees the delivery of substance abuse services in the assigned areas,

  • Work closely with the Assistant Clinical Supervisor to ensure the staff are receiving the appropriate level of supervision and are following all applicable laws and regulations,

  • Monitors the provision of services to ensure that services are provided in accordance with current audit standards and practices are compatible with existing contracts,

  • Be available to all staff for questions and concerns,

  • Approve all client transfers,

  • Provides clinical supervision to the delivery of therapeutic services and ensures that they meet all licensing and regulatory standards of care,

  • Review 10% of all notes and files to ensure compliance,

  • Provide in person counseling to clients to help them with rehabilitation,

  • Provide substance use disorder counseling, support, and education services to assigned clients,

  • Required to keep very detailed and personal records for each client and service,

  • Must have a excellent understanding of treatment plans, intake assessments and annual behavioral health assessments,

  • Must be a compassionate person who desires to help others succeed.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • LICDC-CS

  • Substance Abuse experience/ training and certification required

  • 2 years of experience in Human Services related field

  • Documentation skills must be very strong

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Work schedule will be fixed. Saturdays and evening shifts may be required.
  • Competitive compensation.

  • Must be CPR and first aid certified.

  • Must pass back round check and drug test.
