Description

Job Opening: 3rd Shift Quality Inspector

Shift: 3rd Shift (10:45pm – 7:00am), Sunday - Thursday

ATEK is hiring a Quality Inspector for our 3rd shift team This hands-on role is vital to ensuring our castings meet customer quality standards. If you have an eye for detail, thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and are passionate about producing top-quality work — we want to hear from you

What You'll Do:

  • Inspect castings for defects and ensure they meet customer specs
  • Provide immediate, accurate feedback to production teams
  • Train operators on quality standards and defect identification
  • Document and report quality trends to leadership
  • Use precision tools, gauges, and instruments to inspect parts
  • Promote a culture of safety and teamwork on the floor

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead by example
  • Comfortable working in a foundry-like environment (heat, dust, etc.)

Preferred:

  • Manufacturing or foundry experience
  • Knowledge of molding, finishing, and casting processes
