Cedarlane Natural Foods is seeking for Quality Assurance Technicians to join our team.

Duties:

· Perform quality checks on various production lines as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.

· Ensure products comply with federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications.

· Identify areas for improvement in the facility and report them to the QA Manager.

· Communicate quality concerns or food safety issues to the QA Manager with urgency.

· Physically inspect incoming ingredients and monitor the dry and frozen warehouse for proper handling.

· Perform checks across all stages of production to ensure products meet quality and temperature requirements.

· Monitor final product code dates and packaging to verify accuracy.

· Routinely monitor metal detector equipment to ensure proper functioning.

· Record freezer and cooler temperatures hourly to maintain product safety.

· Document weekly scale standardization and quarterly calibration performed by an outside service.

· Document weekly thermometer standardization using a certified thermometer monthly.

· Conduct shelf-life testing of new plates and sealing materials.

· Complete daily records accurately.

Essential Job Functions:

· Knowledge of plant sanitation.

· Ability to walk and stand constantly.

· Computer literacy.

· Ability to work in cold environments (around 40°F).

· Ability to work around metal detectors.

· Knowledge of USDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, and FDA regulations.

· Strong reading, writing, and math skills.

· Ability to implement corrective actions.

· Enforce all department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Good communication skills

· Strong attention to detail.

· 1–2 years of relevant experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
